If we go this fall, we'll be at the Rio.

the rides at the strat are fun as ef. the last time i went the girl i went with quickly became addicted to slots. bored out of my mind i spent two and a half hours on the roof of the stratosphere. i must have ridden the Upshot twenty times in a row.
but yeah, the one that blasts you over the edge of the roof'll scare the tinkle out of ya.

walleye on light line are a lot of fun.i got an old split cane fly rod from my dad for x-mas probably 60 years old. yesterday i got some new eyes and line for it so on top of my usual weekend fishing i'm gonna try out the casting ponds in golden gate park. it'll be my first time casting a fly on water.

This weekend we're moving. Packing, purging, more packing, yard sale Saturday morning, more packing, moving the boxed-up stuff on Sunday, more packing, and still more packing. The movers come Tuesday for the furniture. Then we get to clean the place, spackle all the nail holes, shampoo the carpet, etc.
And then, when that's all done, we get to unpack. And by then it'll be time to clean the new place.
Can I go fishing instead?

I just spent sunday setting up my 200 litre aquariam! It has a South American theme, with an Aztec temple surrounded by many plants and an Easter Island statue in an area bereft of plants. No fish in it, yet, as you have to age the water and ensure healthy bacteria build up.
It cost me a fortune.

My weekend starts tomarrow. I work a 5-close, so my buddy Ryan and I are going to hang for my pre-birthday. He's going to be gone next weekend, so we're hanging now. We'll probably see a flick or something.

That's cool Lore! I just got rid of all my humongous tanks, 100 gallon and others. Now I am down to one five gallon with various tetras.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Cool! I have a fishtank. I think it's about 200 litres. I'm not into theme tanks as such (you know, with statues and stuff). I like to set mine up a-la-natural kinda thing. We have guppies (cool fish since they breed like rabbits when the conditions are right) and a water loach that SoS calls "loachie". So I have lotsa rocks, bits of driftwood, lots of aquatic ferns and stuff. Nothing more soothing than lying around watching fish. And SoS loves them...and even the cat thinks they're brilliant. Although I have a snail infestation at the moment...these things grow HUGE and also breed like rabbits...bah!

As for the snail infestation - my 20L tank has a snail problem, too. You can buy a product that disrupts the breeding cycle, and it's not expensive either.
