But we're not dealing with the Nazis, USSR (who weren't evil, anyway) . . . and I don't think I don't want the game to be like real life: We're Gods and this is fantasy.Bhakti wrote: It doesn't work this way in rl, where it's even more important to keep evil at bay. The good guys know that they can't just snuff out people, even the ones they know to be evil, without becoming evil. And then there's the fear of war. And so we have Nazi Germany, the USSR, communist China, and on and on.

Hmmmm ... cousin Nor, do YOU trust you more than you trust ME?Murrin wrote:Knowing that most of the time Nor Yekith would stand to gain more by saying out of trouble--which is something that holds for all of us unless we reach a point where we can feel confident of withstanding opposition--I'd still negotiate. I'd even trust Nor to hold to his word more than I do Astavyastataa.
Of course, the game has moved beyond that stage now, where Nor is concerned.

somewhere, in some thread or another (they all run together in my dreamy brain) Nor and Bhakti were arguing, and Bhakti said something to Nor like "black is white with you" or "white is black to you" or some such thing.
SO...
when bhakti said simply "black" that was a direct reference to that earlier post.
NOW do ya'll get it?

Xar ruined my night yesterday when he said that chances are there'll be a Bhakti in the third age. I hardly slept.Bhakti wrote:No, that was Adomorn, I believe. I was simply saying "black" to see if Loremaster would say "white."

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

Depends. If we simply give up on the Second Age, there won't be a Bhakti in the Third. If Eiran is literally destroyed, or all inhabitants destroyed beyond their ability to follow deities, then I'm sure another of the Bhakti line will show up in the Third Age.

I am the self-fulfilling prophecy. Give love, and you WILL receive love. Let your every answer, your every action and reaction, your every desire, be rooted in love.
