sheriff lyton
I've been wondering for some time now what would have happened if the situation with roger were to have went so bad that even sheriff lyton was drawn into the land.
what do all of you think he would do? his reactions to being saved by white gold, to people like linden and covenant being legends, the people of the land like haruchai, stonedowners, ramen, and anele. how would despite belittle him? how would health sense affect him?
I think he'd get a helpful serving of humble pie, but that is to say the least.
btw I just finished runes today... I want to create a ceasure to october

"I'd love to help you, but I'd spill my drink."
Even better... Lytton gets there and finds out that he too is the subject of some ancient legend of the Land. One that we've never heard of because there was no reason up until this time...
"And the man who speaks with the southern drawl is a paradox,
for he wears the silver star badge.
Silver, a metal not native to the Land;
and the Star, symbol of the creator's Lost Children..."
<pause while Lytton faints>

Can't buy that HLT..
He would be more of the enforcement of law.
By sheer presences he restore all laws that were broken.
With that nobody can come back to life. (oops poor TC)
He recruits the Masters and make deputies of them.
Can you imagine the Haruchi talking with a southern drawl??

What's this silver looking ring doing on my finger?

The fanboy in me bristles at the insulting comparison between enforcement of Law, and law enforcement. I'm unsuccessfully trying not to compare Hile Troy / Caer Caveral barely holding the Glaive of Law to the Earth in the wake of the Sunbane to getting a $125 speeding ticket for going 62 MPH in a 55, while getting passed by people going 70. One is noble, the other is simply a revenue stream.
It doesn't help that I have not had very many positive encounters with law enforcement -- and no, I don't appear in any episodes of Cops (to my knowledge).
