Well, think of this as a story of a super-villian.
Lelouch Lamperouge is a young, well-to-do citizen of the Holy Britannian Empire. He and his sister, orphans, live in the care of the once-prestigious Ashford family. They reside of the school the Ashford family runs in the conquered territory of Area 11. Lelouch is bright, outgoing, and friendly, using his excellent grasp of chess to make money beating out the local nobles in 'friendly' games.
But one day, a group of terrorists steal a tanker of nerve gas and try to escape. Curious beyond reason, he follows after them, and witnesses as the tanker's capsule opens... not revealing nerve gas, but an unknown young lady... A squad of corrupt Britannian soldiers show up, and decide to get rid of him as a witness... but the young woman suddenly awakens, and takes the bullet to the head for him. Shocked, he hears a voice, asking him if he wants the power to fight and survive, and he agrees immediately... and he is given the power of the Absolute Order. His first order is simple... he tells the soldiers in front of him to die, in his name.
Hefting their guns, they proudly shout "Yes, your highness!" and shoot themselves in the head... This is the beginning of Lelouch's Rebellion...
I'm kinda depressed at the lack of interest.
