..O moderator... please remove ANYTHING that may serve to advance or cause outright any semblance of spoilage.

Meekly,

Not a moderator, so can't help you there.

But a good bit of beseeching sounds good - any takers? :biggrin:

Yeah! I beg of thee oh merciful moderator - please no spoilers.

Can I also add a beseeching for a delay on any movie spoilers for OOTP until at least a week after it opens? Pretty Please with sugar and whipped cream and chocolate sauce and undying appreciation on top? :biggrin:

Uhm Guns...?

I am thinking you paid heed to the titles of the threads and didn't go in?

The minor spoiler thread is regarding old information and how likely it will come in to play in DH. The massive one only contains a link. The poster can then choose to click on it.

Are these reasons to remove the threads for those who may want to read such? The posters did title the threads to forewarn everyone. Is that a problem?

:::just curious, for now:::

The "massive spoilers" thread isn't even serious--there are no genuine spoilers for the book involved.

I haven't looked at it yet either. But the description seems clear enough that it's just a parody based on the previous books.

Anyway, there's no way that people are going to be allowed to look at DH before the release, so actual spoilers before then are almost impossible.

Yea, there is someone on the 'net who claims to have broken into Bloomsbury's server and gotten the book, but, I find that very tough to believe, personally (although I didn't read those spoilers)

The "Minor spoiler thread" is merely things JKR has mentioned over the years are still to come, and haven't come about yet.

I did read those supposed spoilers. They were... improbable.
Someone who didn't like the books (the 'satanist' thing, I think) wanted to put people off reading it, and thought 'spoiling' the end would make people decide not to. And if they're not reading the book, how will they know they weren't real spoilers, eh? :roll:

Ah, yes, I had forgotten that was a religious nutcase trying to prevent people from being soiled by reading it.

If you did you'd see the first word is PARODY! So it's all in fun! :biggrin: Raunchy adult humor type of fun but all in fun! :biggrin:
