Apparently the mad mage who performed such a curse ... ahhh ... I understand such Suffering and Mox understands his Madness ...perhaps Bahkti or Jove will request our assistance to address this mage. I can certainly release (or enhance) his Suffering ... and Mox can remove (or enhance) his madness. Which will they request. If this mage is content and sane ... will he repent and release his curse ... or will he be MORE of a cold calculating threat? Perhaps Bahkti can join in an influence Love for the imprissioned populace.
So many options ....
No matter the choices .... such Suffering, Chaos, and Madness in this world ... and even Destruction *breathes in deeply* - I am glad I came to this reality.

If the raising of the dead was merely to bolster numbers against Nor Yekith, why does it continue unabated now that he is gone? WHo does he defend himself from now? I love you Bhakti, but you are a fool if you believe that defending you and your son from Nor Yekith were the true reasons for this abomination.

It is true that he was prepared to fall upon Nor with an unbeatable host. As were we all.
But since Malice fled we have seen nought but peace from Argothoth (I forgive accidental skirmishes!)

While we may decry the results, I find no fault in Argothoth following his nature. Indeed, I fInd much to admire in his unprecedented feat of necromancy!!
No, Norn, that's not what I mean. Argothoth did it so he could become tremendously powerful. Nor Yekith thought Argothoth was raising the dead so the two of them could take over the world; and that, in return for our help, Argothoth was promising us things he had no intention of giving us. The rest of us thought Argothoth was raising the dead so Argothoth could remove Nor Yekith as a threat to the world; and that, in return for his help, Argothoth was promising Nor Yekith things he had no intention of giving him. I merely said what I said about the specific plans Nor Yekith had made against Adomorn, Maeror and me, and my son (all of which is in addition to the fact that he was helping Argothoth raise the world's undead so they could take over the world) in order to show you that it was not idle talk. Nor Yekith's plans were serious and specific.
As for it being an "abomination," I am not entirely pleased with it, either. And not just because the problem in Aldian is not the only problem this has caused me. I am not God of the Undead, and am not at all comfortable with having raised all the world's dead. I would rather the dead had been allowed to rest in peace. But I feel that what we did is better than having Malice be forced onto the world. If there ever comes a time when I am dead, and the best possibility of saving my children and the world is to raise me, I hope there will be no hesitation. Despite all reservations, this plan was overwhelmingly capable of doing the job (although who would have thought it would end anywhere near as well as it did?!?!?!), and Argothoth was willing to go up against Nor Yekith. As I've said, I have never heard of a plan that had remotely as good a chance of success, nor had I heard that anyone else was willing to go up against Nor Yekith.
Also, the spell was of such magnitude that it took two turns to complete. Argothoth is, of course, better qualified to answer, but, although I suppose there may be very small numbers still rising, it is now over.

Of course I made no mention of fighting against Nor Yekith.
I stand with Norn on this. Now that the threat has passed, I see no need to NOT let the undead return to their peaceful slumber. I say that we return these souls to where they belong, in the afterlife.
My siblings, I have calmed down from my anger and blood lust. I have thought of many things. Mostly of the horror that I have unleashed. I see now that Protection and Honor cannot exist along something as one sided as Combat or Battle.
