I saw that on the Anthology III thread and got entirely excited. I have not seen any of the anthologies, but I would love to read that entry...

Early to say... most of it should be set between the First and Second Ages, though. Still, several players might find cameos from their own old gods :P

Sweeeeeet. Can't wait to read it. Any idea what sort of style your going to write it in? Novel, short stories, narrative?

What I'm writing now is a short story (I hope... but my stories have a tendency to balloon in size from the number of pages I originally envision to several pages longer) which is partly set between the First and Second Ages. I can't tell you much about it (wouldn't want to spoil the surprise :P) but it also contains references to several events in Pantheon 2.0.

I was running a blank on how to maintain a semi-militaristic style of play, but without the aggressiveness that I keep throwing on myself, and getting myself in trouble with, and then it hit me.

the Oath of Peace.

So does anyone have problems with me stealing that bit? It fits really well with where I want to go with Adomorn. If anyone doesn't like it, I'll change.

It looks good ... but if you steal it ... the AllFather may assume you stole ALL of it!! Remember ... it was the Oath of Peace itself that prevented the New Lords from mastering the Seven Wards ... it contains seeds that constrict power. So borrow at your peril!! ;) :P

The OoP constricts Kevin's Lore. It may be perfectly compatible with many other types and uses of power. Indeed, that was Mhoram's assumption at the end ot TPTP.

Yes, yes. But the fact that evil found a way to take advantage of those who followed Mhoram does not prove that the Oath constricts any power other than K's L.

Since I had fun reading the entries of the Eirani Bestiary contest (and I hope players had just as much fun writing them) I decided I'll make this contest a recurring one. From time to time, another Eirani Bestiary contest will be announced, and players can submit new creatures.

To this purpose, I have also created a new thread in Gravin Threndor, called "Eirani Bestiary". All creatures which officially belong to Eiran will be detailed here, and credit will be given where it is due. I hope you enjoy the idea!

My next entry shall be the 'fornarffotes' which will be a punchbag type creature that exists only to be beaten....
