Actors Who Make You Cringe.....

Post by The Laughing Man »

There's a few actors out there that no matter what they are in, their presence almost ruins the show/movie for me........for whatever reason, its like fingernails on the chalkboard of my soul......theyre not bad actors really, they just make me queasy somehow.....

I'll start with this guy:

www.imdb.com/name/nm0566783/

I just saw him in a rerun of Star Trek TNG episode "The Price" while at work today...he's been in quite alot of tv/movies, and is perhaps most notable as Lloyd Braun of Seinfeld fame.....

Serenity Now! :x

Bill Paxton. Owen Wilson. Most female stand-ups who go into acting.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

you're makin me nervous danlo..... :P and do you mean what I think you mean? :hairs:

anyway, I happen think Stiller is one of the finest creative comic geniuses we've seen this generation, especially when unconstrained, his earlier stuff especially was overlooked, but incredibly funny, and Sandler I'd like to just give a noogie, Happy Gilmour was his shining moment for me, and he'll always be mostly that to me, heh....so nuts to you'se! :P

Owen Wilson I haven't seen too much of thankfully, so remains pleasantly distracting, but I can see how he might get that way.... :shifty: (him and Stiller in NATM with his tiny cowboy "impotent rage" was close to a classic moment for me :D )

but this woman?

Tom Cruise. Ugh. *shudders*

danlo...

I adore long hair on boys and men. Too bad I can't convince Beorn to wear his hair that way. At least Hyperception still wears his long (bottom of shoulder blades).

Got any photos of you with such that I may see? Anyone else have some they're willing to share? I'll be happy to take them via PM, if you don't want to clutter up the thread... ;)

Don't feel bad Danlo . . . at one point, I had a mullet in high school. Now it's a shaved head for me. Or nearly so. Keeping it shaved smooth is a pain, so I usually do the #1 guard buzz cut thing.
