IIRC, Nephy was actively trying to wake the beast in P1, and I wouldn't be surprised if he has been studying it since. He almost certainly knows more about it than anyone. It may well be his pet once it's awake. Or he may be immune to it. And I may have just given Xar a couple ideas, but I doubt he hasn't already considered these things.

As for the various questions:

Murrin - the war on Olaern does not concern you directly, but if you speak with Adomorn and/or Argothoth you will learn that an army of Argothoth's undead are battling a smaller army of Adomorn's followers.

Bhakti, Asta - the fact that Nephirthos is not in the list is intentional

But you'll have to wait for the only person who knows exactly why and how. Still, if you look carefully, you might get a hint or two about the scope of his power...

Asta - Mox is still your vassal.

The scope of his power isn't in question.

I mean, sheesh! He just threw like 50 DRP's at us!! I'm curious about whether or not he is one of us. It would be helpful to know if efforts that would work against each other will work against him. Will cloaks hide his vision? Will shields block his power? That kind of thing.

Well, the highest rank is 20, and I don't think I'd be surprised if Xar had made Nephirthos a rank 20 god...

I don't doubt it either. However, my concern is for the nature of his strength. Is it the same as the Power all of us use?
-There is no possibility of cutting each other off from our source of Power - our followers. If he is one of us, then we cannot cut him off from his source of Power.
-The Star of Yekith blocked divine sight, but that does not mean it blocked the sight of demons from other dimensions. Can we expect such expenditures of DRP's to block his sight?

The logical question would be - WHERE are his followers, if he has any? Until you know that, you can't know whether his power is the same as yours, or if he draws power from somewhere else.
