What's to get? She's blonde, attractive, and a doctor! Besides, headcases are Bond's forte:screwy:

Better? Better at what? Bond's Q can't effect the gravitational constant of the universe. Trek's Q simply can't exist in a James Bond world. Hmmm...

With 17 Bond movies under his belt, it could be argued that the original Bond Q was the gravitational constant of Bond's universe. Trek's Q may have had talent, but, as 007 himself pointed out, Bond's Q had balls. :screwy:

I haven't seen that one all the way through yet. The one time I saw part of it it looked really stupid (I saw the scene where 007 shot a female fan/assassin with the pen he was using to give her an autograph with). Also, I have never been fully into Kim in any of her other movies, no matter how hard she has tried to win me over. Nicole Kidman and Catheryn Zeta Jones, however....Yikes! :screwy:

dAN, what are you smoking? Oh wait. I said that already. Uh, yeah. Never Say Never Again seemed pretty sloppy to me. I have actually seen it all the way through. Kim Basinger. I think she had a scene in My Stepmother is an Alien that looked pretty cool. I'm not a fan of Nicole but Catherine sliding along the ground under those security lasers, was forever emblazoned on my memory. Wow. :-)

Well, to be honest, I do think Kim is hot. Just not quite as hot as some other women, and I'd like to take a moment to add Charlize Theron to that list. That scene from Entrapment has been permanently etched in my memory. I doubt that Altzheimer's could erase it....Anyway, I'd have to say "The Marrying Man" contains my favorite Bassinger performance. Maybe there's better stuff out there I just haven't seen yet.:screwy:

You've obviously never seen 9 and 1/2 Weeks. I've never seen Never either I just saw her on a list of Bond girls--you don't have to see her act to appreciate her--I think she won an oscar, or came pretty close 4 L.A. Confidential which all the critics liked but I had 2 turn off in 15 minutes as it was terribly boring and made no sense whatsoever. She was great in Cool World but her best movie is the outrageous Blind Date with Bruce Willis and John LaRoquette--now THAT is a funny movie!!! :D

I freely admit I have seen none of these. I did see "Batman", part of that movie where she helps Alec get out of jail in Mexico, and the aforementioned "Marrying Man". :screwy:

They're all worth seeing except 4 L.A.--as a comic book afficiando you would love the animation in Cool World, of course it's a Roger Rabbit clone but fun just the same. As a silly person I kno u would love Blind Date! :S

Clear seems to disagree. Perhaps one day I'll see it and make up my own mind about it. And beware; silliness can be just thinly-disguised malice. :screwy:

dAN, what are you smo..malice eh? Perhaps. I just found Kim as if not more annoying than Bruce Willis' character in the movie.
I saw Cool World. The animation is pretty cool. Kind of a funky story though. imo.
I did not see L.A. Confidential but the clips I've seen of Kim in that movie are always the same ones and she does look quite fetching in that white satin dress. :D

I think we have gotten somewhat off-corse here. Too many posts in a row without mentioning Sophie Marceau... :screwy:

What is the point of this thread? Oh yeah. So anyway I was thinking that the best Bond sidekick was Bufford T. Justice or some such, from the Roger Moore Bond era.

Hawaii-five-Oh's McGarret in Dr. No was better. :screwy:
