OOH! I love a good zoo. The one here in San Francisco is always undergoing renovations but it's ok. I hear the one down in San Diego is gorgeous. Someday I will get there!
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

Weekend past...was so contrasted.
Thursday, me and LIs went to see Cirque du Soliel.
Saturday, We were at a wedding reception...and we both got way too drunk..(A drank a bottle and half of wine...then a pint of vodka mixed with RedBull(PS-don't ANYone EVER try that)) The end of the evening, the dozen or so of us that were left, were all over eachother, as if we were all high on Ecstacy.
Sunday, Me and my father were playing the gutar for a down-home Christian Revival sing-along at the church.

My baby is all grown up

And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

Mine too, Furls! Leaving early-early tomorrow to take MagickMaker to Roanoke. Driving back probably Friday morning. I've signed up for an Irish social dancing seminar on Saturday; other than that, there's nothing on the calendar for the weekend. Ahhhhhh...

Well, I know what I won't be doing this weekend: attending SRD's read. Sorry folks but Tam has to work Friday night and I'm the only one qualified to watch Hayden-he can't be left with a babysitter or put in daycare.
I may, however, attend SRD's panel Sat night and try to chat with him...

That's okay, Danlo. You've got your priorities exactly where they should be.

Channel. We don't have any blue's in the Sacramento delta, I think. We got those little yellow and brown ones, though, that they call bullhead cats. I've caught a bunch but I don't eat 'em; they're little and ugly.Sunbaneglasses wrote:Is that a blue cat, or a fat channel cat? Either way I would fillet it, cut it into chunks, soak it in buttermilk, roll it in a flour/cornmeal combo, and fry it in hot grease.
This guy got filleted and breaded and's got a date with some hot grease like you say, also some hush pups, collards and black eyed peas.
Going back to that same spot for some more this weekend. Hopin' on some bigger stripers this time.
