I'm typing this from my college's computer lab. Foul's back, baby!

It's going to be child's play. I made As while starving myself; no telling how well I'll do with proper nutrition! Probably Bs or something. Heh.

There is nothing more tragic than a sick pussy.

Cat.

Best of luck Lorelei, I know it's heartbreaking having a sick pet.

One of my friend's cats had AIDS--AIDS, I kid not! I didn't know cats could get it.

His name's Thomas. He's eating some kind of special food, because he lost over 1/2 of his body mass (five pounds).

Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is acutally quite common. I got all my cats screened for it when I got them and they are all negative. Since they are indoor cats they just get a booster vaccine every few years.

I Gainesville, FL, I remember seeing when I worked at the Humane Society a report from, I believe, Operation catnip, the people who rent out traps to use to catch strays to be spayed/neutered, that said that about 7% of cats in Gainesville were FIV Positive. This is the wild/feral population. I also remember there were supposed to be between, if I recall correctly, 70 to more than 100 thousand feral cats in Alachua County.

I may be reversing the statistics for Feline Luke and FIV. I do know that in the maybe hundred to two hundred cats I tested while working at the humane society for about six to eight months, only two or three turned up positive. Many of these were strays.

Lorelei, I hope your kitty is aok! :)

I have an icky stomach bug...courtesy of SoS (who had it a few days ago). Perhaps I shouldn't have let him make all those gingerbread men (probably baked a whole lot of love and germs into them). Shame that my partner then took a whole lot of them to his work for his colleagues!
