A coworker said, today, that I look retarded. When I queried whether it was a joke or not, she wouldn't say and then went on to state that she says the truth, etc.
Needless to say, I'm fucking annoyed.

I am feeling much better. I received a nice pm today, and someone dear to me affirmed who I am. It's made me realise that I don't need rubbish and stress in my life. I guess it's true that bad days can strengthen one's identity and resolve.

A number of years ago, I was out at a bar with coworkers. This drunk woman, whom none of us knew, came up and sat on one guys lap. He happened to be the quietest and most shy guy in the office. She faced him. Grabbed his face with both of her hands. Looked deeply into his eyes. And said: "You are the ugliest fuck I have ever seen!"

Night out with friends from office - $50
Look on Jerry's face - PRICELESS!!

epilogue: after he got over the shock. and we got her off his lap. he took the episode in good spirits.

I feel tired. I haven't slept well in days. After a horrific nightmare night before last, patchy sleep last night and Moose deciding that he wanted to try to wake me up to play with him at 5 am. I am a little cranky.

Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

I know the feeling. I lost five days of sleep in June, when I was recovering from annorexia. Something'll give, though, and you'll be sleeping like the dead soon enough.Cameraman Jenn wrote:I feel tired. I haven't slept well in days. Well, seeing as how the nightmare centered around Moose, when I finally got a grip I couldn't help myself and snugged and loved him for an hour in the middle of the night. I think he wanted another wee hours lovefest this morning.

Ah, pet woes. MagickMaker's kitty, the Lady Morgana, has become my new best friend (or so she thinks). She's been putting herself in front of me *everywhere*, meowing as loudly and as high-pitched as she can (and this cat has a seriously soprano meow to start with). When I pick her up, she squirms around and walks all over me, and then -- my favorite part -- drools all over my hands when I pet her. Bleah.
I know she's doing it because she misses her mommy. But between her and Batty's kitty, Tom, who regularly acts like a psychotic puppy ("play with me! PLAY with me! PLAY! ME ME ME ME ME! PLAAAAY!!!!") and who is a titch more psychotic than usual because he's missing *his* mommy, too...well... <sigh> I swear, if I ever get another cat, it's gonna be one of those aloof and unaffectionate ones.

Drew, isn't it obvious? She's reaching for a lollypop sans hands!
