Well it's still trying to eek through, and I'm going to sleep with it on. But yeah, I'm fine now.

Although a little grossed out because everytime I try to bite anything to eat, I get blood all over it. :?

Because you have been sick, I will go easy on your empire in the Empires game. Sure, some stars have been destroyed and two empires have been wiped out . . .

Sorry...I should have quoted...

I was referring to Balon's avatar and details of what happened.

...yes, I'm squemish around blood, unless it's Beorn's; then there's some sort of disconnect that happens that allows me to deal with it...

Balon, here's a little tip on nosebleeds....I used to get them all the time when I was younger.

When you get a nosebleed put a rubberband fairly tight around the pinky on the hand opposite the side your nose is bleeding on. Not sure of all the science behind it but it works.

I feel like... Like... Where did this nice tooth necklace come from?

Life is just a little more annoying than it was yesterday, considering I don't have another day off for 8 days.

Seriously? Crap. I had a rubberband in my pocket that I had found in a theatre right before my nose starting gushing.

I'll remember than next time. Thanks!

Lay off the coke.

That'll help.

But seriously...once when I had a nosebleed that wouldn't quit, I had a nurse tell me to tip my head forward (not back); pinch my nose, on the bony part, for ten minutes; and then don't blow your nose or insert anything into it for 12 hours (this would be where Cail's advice comes into play...). It worked, too. The worst part was not being able to blow my nose for half a day (damned allergies, anyhow).

HAHAHA. I've been telling everyone at work that I had to kick someone out of a movie, and they popped me.

EVERYONE has believed it, but yours is good too. I think I'll try that one tommorrow.

Oh yeah. AND I got written up at work today.

So, I was going to go to the Nanny Diaries with Angela (a friend) after I got off work, right?

Well, she got off an hour or two before me, so she went to go see Death Sentence while I was working.

When I got off, I went to go sit with her for the last twenty minutes so we could not have to look for her when the movie got out.

Reasonable, right?

NO.

Company policy is that I HAVE to be written up because I was "caught in a movie without a ticket."

The manager was understanding, though. Knew that I wasn't trying to be malicious or anything.

And at least the first time it's a warning.

So.

Meh.

I got written up.

I am with you there! Though it sounds like we're at the same stage but we're five hours later here!

Trust me, Stoney. At my age, waking up everyday at 5:00 am gets old. Sleeping in until 7:00 am, and waking up on my own, is a luxury beyond measure.

I woke up at 7.03 on the dot this morning, which is when my alarm normally goes off (don't you hate your bodyclock when you have a day off?) But then drifted off again for another five hours...lovely! No sleep tonight though
