Good for you, Guns!

The wife of one of my attorneys had a baby this morning. The wife of my other male attorney had hers in July, and my third attorney (female) is due in November. So -- two down, one to go. :) (I've gotta get crackin' on that last baby blanket! Kinda haven't been interested since it got stinkin' hot -- imagine that.... I should feel more like knitting, tho, now that the weather's FINALLY cooling off.)

I feel good (albeit a little tired). Our baby boy finally came out of the hospital last Monday, after four weeks. He's doing great, eating like a champ and shitting it all out double-time
We just have to get used to his rhythm (and he to ours), but it's fantastic. I'm so proud of him after all that he's been through.

Interesting, Guns.

A woman came into my office last month asking about LIHEAP. The city gave her, or she wrote down, the wrong address. Fortunately, I knew what she was talking about since my agency used to oversee the program and got her back on track.

I feel very sad. Bloodguard Bob's best friend passed away in an accident and I wish that I had words of wisdom or a way to comfort him better. Samir was 34 and way too young to die. It is a sad day.

That's terrible, Jenn. Give BGB my regrets.

I don't know what to say, either, but your just being there for him should help.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry. Yeah, be there for him. That does help.

Thank you all for your kind words. BGB is doing ok. We had an informal wake for Samir last night. BGB's posse came over and we paid homage to Samir with obscenely expensive liqour and the boys reminisced about all the ridiculous/obnoxious/crazy things the group of them did over the years.

HAHA. That sounds like the manly grieving proccess to me! :D I'm glad he's doing okay.

I'm feel an amazing combination of crappy and awsome. I scored a super good backpack at goodwill (a thriftshop) for THREE bucks, but last night I had some terrible dreams and woke up with a bad stomache ache. Then I threw up in my bathroom, and I still feel a little anxious.

Meh. :?

So sorry to hear that CJ. It sounds like they did the right thing trying to get over it though.

Balon: It is not the dreams making you throw up, it is your organism forcing the nightmares upon you to force you into awakening, because there are physical symptoms (nausea), that takes someone awake to deal with.
