To celebrate turn 10, I am incorporating some great things. Mainly fun and to spice up the activities. First off, I'm trying to increase freedom - so by friday this week there will be new stuff each empire can do. I'm currently adding new technologies, and there might be a new arm of technology . . . . and Level IV techs! There will be new random events - some very dangerous but exciting.

And lastly, I will be including Victory Points. Basically, every empire will be given one victory item. If they meet the conditions, you get goodies, like free tech, lots of money, ships, powerful items, etc. But the conditions will be tough to achieve.

Oh, and there might be a map expansion . . . southwards . . .

As I am updating the rules, is there anything anybody would like for me to include? How can I improve the game?

Plant Based: Much cheaper colonies because of quick adaptation, but more expensive ships because of having to incorporate unfamiliar metals.
An idea that struck me for a new race option.

Vegetable: Very cheap colonies, and more expensive warships.
:haha:

I swear to god, I'm making a race called the Cabbagepatchkids.

Also (I don't have a catchy name maybe Comfortable at Home?) but a flaw for a limited number of colonies, or more expensive colonies.

Eh, I've changed the name. They are now plant-based. Vegetable is silly.

At a time? No, I wouldn't think so.

Damn - does this mean we'll have to create an addendum to the Accord?

Why not expand the map by one ring around the whole section?

Hmm. Map expansion means my spreadsheet map won't fit all on one screen anymore. I get a little OCD about that. Ah, well...

(Montressor, PM me your email address and I'll send you the spreadsheet. It takes a bit of maintenance, mind.)
