I heartily agree.dANdeLION wrote:I guess I just can't stand how Marvel turned him into a tool during the Civil War arc, and I'd like to see him return to being a hero, and I'm hoping someday soon some Marvel writers will get their heads out of their asses and start making the good guys good, and maybe even have some of them fight the bad guys instead of each other.
"If you can't tell the difference, what difference does it make?"
the Thunderbolts having Venom, Bullseye and the Green Goblin as members. Stark must pay for that.dANdeLION wrote:I'm also glad to see Iron Man get his butted kicked, which is crazy, because I'm an Iron Man fan. Oh, and I'm digging Thor now that he is Don Blake again!
It ends when it stops making them money.dlbpharmd wrote:This is my complaint with DC - Crisis on Infinite Earths, Zero Hour, Millenium, Identity Crisis, Infinite Crisis, now Final Crisis coming up - when does it end?
Yes, I remember that as well... apparently Reed created an equation that showed that if registration wasn't approved and pushed for, the world would be poised on the brink of disaster, and that's why he went along with it and even helped (creating the Thor clone for example). If I remember correctly, the prison in the negative zone is named "42" because it was number 42 on Stark's list of 100 things to do to change the world for the best...High Lord Tolkien wrote:No no no......
Wasn't there a reason Tony and Reed acted the way they did?
That something really really bad was destined to happen and the course they took, the Civil War arc, was the lesser of all evils?
It had something to do with Reed and Tony figuring out some super being math problem or something.
The Mad Thinker was impressed when he saw Reeds equations if I remember.
The "bad thing" was hinted about but never explained.
At least that seems to be resolved. Little Danielle is a cutie!Xar wrote:Spoiler
And by the way, not only was Elektra a Skrull, but Jessica Jones's baby showed skrully eyes lately too, which led people to think maybe the baby, Jessica or possibly even Cage may be Skrulls...
Yeah, that was in the FF issue right before he and Sue quit the team. Still, it's a flimsy excuse; I want to see the situation that proves his equations.Xar wrote:Yes, I remember that as well... apparently Reed created an equation that showed that if registration wasn't approved and pushed for, the world would be poised on the brink of disaster, and that's why he went along with it and even helped (creating the Thor clone for example).High Lord Tolkien wrote:No no no......
