I just never got The Smiths. I had a roommate in college who used to listen to I think it was "Meat is Murder" A LOT. I truly thought it was a freakin' yawner. Gimmie the English Beat, Roxy Music or Boomtown Rats, but the Smiths? Feh.

IMHO of course.

"Meat is Murder" itself is an unpleasant song. Especially if you are a carnivore.

Saw a video clip of Morrisey doing How Soon is Now man I love that song!!!!--LM which is the best CD to get with that song? A live Morrisey or a Smiths version?
