I feel great! Currently 180 pounds, and I'm working my way to 200. My arms are still too thin for my liking. They be needing some beef!
I feel a bit apprehensive, though, as if I'm about to take a dive or wade into deep water. Do I gain one pound a week, or does it matter if I gain a little faster?
PS. I never followed up on my anorexia thread, so thanks to everyone who gave kind words/phone #s/PMs during my lowest point. I ended up worrying a jot too much; most of the mental turmoil/fears were due to my physical condition. Amazing how the stress slowly faded: it didn't happen overnight; it was as if there was a long blur of recovery, and then, little by little, normality returned.

Harry Callahan: Yeah.

Yeah. Aside from the fork and spoon, lifting weights is the other key ingredient to getting bigger.Dragonlily wrote:Are you lifting weights to bulk up? Do I understand right that there's a different pattern of lifting to follow, depending on whether you want to bulk up or strip down?
Me, I haven't lifted weights for two weeks; it's mainly because my grandfather's country club closed down, and I've been too busy with college to look for a new gym. There's several choices here in Rome, but I'll most likely go to the one my grandfather goes to.

I am sick. I feel like crap. I'm achy all over and my throat is killing me and my glands are swollen up like that illness in Stephen King's "The Stand."

Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

I got maybe two hours sleep last night. Now I have to take a trip to San Diego, do a dance performance, smooze, travel all the way back to Long Beach to watch a dance performance, then head home.
I've felt better.
But then, I don't have to drive so I shouldn't bitch too much.

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

*sniffle* I'm sick. Again. UGH.
But on another note last night was strange. In the order of LEAST weirdness:
A bunch of kids sneaked into another movie (which is common) but after Provo kicked them out the back of the theater, they actually came ALL the way around the side of the theater to the front and asked for their money back. HAHA. As if. Stupid kids.
SECOND: a drunk fell unconscious in theater one and pissed himself. Wow. I'm super glad there's a bar right next to our theater. Not.
THIRD: I was tearing tickets for a group of people, looked up and Governor Gregoir was standing there. Wanna know the funny part? The first thing I thought of was "you're not MY Governor." Heh.

I felt bloody awful this morning - self inflicted though, so I can't really complain.
Went to the pub with some mates last night to watch the rugby and ended up getting really drunk - not flavour of the month with the wife today, after waking her up in the middle of the night and also having a pee in the kitchen rubbish bin (ooops
)
Didn't get much sympathy from her, and am now working my way back into her good books
Never mind, I've got two weeks to wait for my next major night out, where I can do a repeat performance, hopefully without peeing in the bin.

I survived the Captain Tripps and am feeling alot better. Not 100% but I'll get there. I got nothing done over the weekend except sleep and lounge.

Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

I am feeling better today.
The shop has been busy as heck. I can't even keep the cars I have inside. I have had to brave street parking
with several cars. I am glad that we are busy but it's almost too busy. Seems odd that I would be this way when other shops in the city are sending guys home early and even going out of business. I thank my lucky stars I am not one of those shops!
I have tentative plans to go boogie boarding after work but I am starting to feel a bit tired and may cancel.

I feel like poop. For as long as I can remember (even as a young child) I have had nights where I will drift off to sleep for a few minutes then awaken very nervously and toss and turn all night. I often do not get more than two or three hours of sleep when this happens, and I feel worse the next day than if I had simply went to bed late and gotten up early. I have asked my doctor about this and they attribute it to stress, but since it does not happen but every so often I have never sought out treatment. It has happened enough in my life to really suck.
