Obviously, I'm having a rather hard time musing as to what exact album I should buy next . . . I've narrowed down my choices to just three. And so, the Lord Foul has set up a voting booth--as to see how the results come out.
Anyway, vote and give your reason why! I gotta hear about these great albums! I'll eventually have them all, of course, but for now I'll just get one to keep music overload from occurring (if that's even possible, heh). Rock the vote!
I voted for Tool, Undertow (yes, I know you are all shocked). It is quite possibly my favorite album of all time. However, Foul, I think I'd probably recommend Aenima for you start with if you don't already own any Tool.... or maybe even start off with A Perfect Circle's new album.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
-George Steiner
If you buy a Who album buy Live at Leeds it'll rock your socks off! Knowing what little I do of your psyche you'd prob like Quadrophenia better, tho...

Buy the Who album LF - last one made with Kieth Moon still kickin' a** on drums.
Note on the back cover - Moon sitting in a chair that has "Do not remove" painted on the back - He died before the album was released if my memory is correct....
