Re: FR Countdown!
...hang on...if he started reading it in 2005 that'd make it "over two years ago" wouldn't it!dlbpharmd wrote:It did to those of us who've been keeping up here.Romeo wrote:WOOHOO!! Six days! Did it EVER seeem like we'd be THIS close?!?!But who're you kidding, since you read FR over a year ago?

Hang on again! If he started reading it in 2004 - just after Runes came out - that would make it "over three years ago!" And if the first draft was done at the end of February 2006 (as per the News section of the official site), that means he was "teased" along through one of the most exciting Donaldson books ever at a snail's (aka "Jay's" <grin>) pace - which surely twisted his sanity more than a bit.
But the wait is the same between books for us Readers. Okay - I know we're not getting any sympathy there. But I had to try.
I'm STILL psyched about FR's release, though! As soon as it shows up I'm going to curl up with it with the same enthusiasm as anyone else.

...and, yes, my sanity is twisted....
...but, you're pulling everyone's leg, right? You want sympathy??!?!

I deserve sympathy: I don't have an adjective!

OH MY GOD! Wayfriend, you so KNOW you are gonna CURL UP with FR. You probably already set out the tea cozy, the quilt, the pajamas and the backing pillows. I bet you even color coordinated them so they wouldn't clash with the cover of FR.
Now throw aside your machismo fronting and admit it.....

He has several to choose from but I think the pink and grey plaid is his favorite.

have you ever tried explaining yourself
