I would've done the same as Vain, if I had the willpower. But I just have to read the book so that I won't be living in fear of spoilers, especially if I want to continue visiting KW.

Speaking of willpower... a couple of days ago I broke down and looked at the CH. 1 preview... but only the chapter title

I like it ;-)

First we'd have to alert the media...I could write a news release... C'mon, it's not like *any* of us will be sleeping Monday night anyhow! ;)

(I finished my re-read of Runes last night. How can I wait 6 more days? :faint: )
This would be a great idea except on the off chance my local BAM doesn't have it (highly unlikely) a road trip to Birmingham would be required. Must sleep Monday night, must sleep Monday night, must sleep Monday night

Sorry for the double post.

That's okay, any and all pre-orders count toward first-day sales.

Vain, how can you stand it...???

Just a few more short days to wait....

I am still "pure" (*snort*) and have not read any off of the website yet...

If I have to wait for my turn to come up on the library waiting list, I am not going to whet my appetite by reading ahead of time.

She came out of the Border's Books store just in time to see her young son playing on the sidewalk directly in the path of the gray, gaunt man who strode down the center of the walk like an amicable autochthon. For an instant, her heart quailed. Then she jumped forward, gripped her son by the arm, snatched him out of harm's way.

The man went by without turning his head. As his back moved away from her, she hissed at it, "Go away! Get out of here! You ought to be ashamed! Reading WHGB?!"

Wayfriend's stride went on, as unfaltering as clockwork that had been wound to the hilt for just this purpose, buying FR before he read anymore online. But to himself he responded, Ashamed? Ashamed? His face contorted in a wild grimace. Beware! Outcast unclean!

I'm just patient - I liken it to letting a fine wine age and savouring it at the right time.
