You know, I could just picture some saturday morning cartoon show tearing apart the story of TC. It would be based on the first chronicles; every episode Foul would come up with some new plan to be mean, and the Lords would have to say "ur-Lord, we need your help." At this point TC will heroically be transported to the Land to fight with his wild magic all kinds of urviles and such. Oh, and Foul would need some sort of annoying, whiny lacky. Maybe Drool would work.
"But booooooossssss! How are we going to dispose of the lords?"
"Fool! That is the easiest part! They GOOD nature will make them weak!"
"Wow, master! That sure is evil!"
"Yes it is! But do not fail me this time!"
And at the end of every episode, everyone learns a lesson and Foul blasts off into space yelling "Next time, Graveler! NEXT TIME!"
Oh, and every Lord will be of a different ethnicity to be politically correct.

Well, I'm convinced. By the way, I'm not exactly up on my cartoons, who are all those charicters mentioned earlier?

At first I thought the thread would've been a serious discussion about animating the series like Baskin did with LOTR and the Hobbit... but I can see now the utter seriousness of the thread.
TCTC as a saturday morning tv show... or even as a comedy... oh gees so the Rape of Lena would end up being a pie in the face?

Lena: "That may be so in your world, but Ah the Land, the Land is real!"

Covenant: heh heh heh :S that's what you think girly! SPLAT! (foul's laughter in the background)....
remember the Oath Of Peace!

Oh, don't forget one of the Evil Emperor Zurg's mind control rays.

A Giant-Raver: "Ah, little Lord-- One little two little three makarana! Four little five little six macarana! Seven little eight little nine makarana! Oh, makarana!"
Lords: "So, we, uh, challenge you?"
Raver: *dances the hula*

I always thought I'd be the first one to make an "Am I Insane?" poll . . . *looks dejected*
