She goes in both directions for me.

Dandelion will make you wise
Tell me if she laughs or cries

First she was going counter-clockwise, but I got it to switch. Haven't been back to the 1st page of the thread yet to see if she's still going clockwise for me....

I'm like Murrin, I can switch the spin direction easily just by thinking the direction I want to see.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

This thing really trips me out. It's always spinning counterclockwise when I first look at it, but with a little concentration and eye-shifting I can usually make it not only spin in the opposite direction, but "dance" a half spin to either side, back and forth. This is, apparently, my accomplishment for the day.

Firstly, my girlfriend is a neuropsychology graduate and she says all this left brain/right brain stuff is, to be blunt, balls.
Secondly, when I was reading the post and could only see the dancer with my peripheral vision, she was going clockwise. When I looked directly at her, she started going anti-clockwise, and I can't make her switch back again.

What part of "Let's not start talking about our hot cousins" is so hard to understand!

Freud said that being able to see clickwise only in peripheral vision is a sign of listening to girlfriends to much. But he's been debunked I think.CovenantJr wrote:Firstly, my girlfriend is a neuropsychology graduate and she says all this left brain/right brain stuff is, to be blunt, balls.

But seriously ... you can figure it out pretty easily if you think about it. In order for her to spin clockwise, her extended foot must be lower when in front of her than when in back of her, so you need to imagine the girl leaning forward. For counterclockwise, the foot must be higher when in front than when in back, so imagine her tipped backwards. (Like I said, it's all about if you naturally want to look down her blouse or up ... )
So maybe the real test has to do with how fast you can intuit that part.

Ha, ha, very funny. We've all been duped. This dancer changes directions. She even changes the arm/leg she has lifted slightly. Sometimes it's the left (when she is spinning counter-clockwise) and sometimes it's the right (when she is spinning clockwise). This has got to be a joke.
[Edit: ok, maybe it's not a joke. I can now make her change directions at will.]
