DVDs and YOU!

I didn't follow the X-Files, but was aware of the show's phenomenal popularity at the time. However, I did catch the X-Files feature film when it aired on TV and enjoyed it. I bought the DVD in the cheap bin not long ago, just haven't gotten around to watching it. I agree about Anderson and Duchovny: their chemistry was terrific.
Not sure I'd want to go through all of the X-File seasons, but if it's in syndication somewhere, I wouldn't mind catching the stand alone episodes you're talking about.

My package just arrived a little while ago, the package containing Jaws 30th anniversary edition, Jaws 2 and Jaws 3. It also contains season two of Wondershowzen.

I've never seen the Jaws sequels, as I've heard that they suck bad. I looked them up on IMDB: while Jaws 2 is rated as a genuinely good sequel, the subsequent films seem to be perennial "worst movie ever" contenders. I notice that Jaws 4 (aka Jaws: The Revenge) is ranked #91 on IMDB's Bottom 100. Hahahaha!

Well, I love Jaws 2 cuz I think it is a fun sequel. Jaws 3 I also purchased but more because it's a great campy sequel. Jaws 4, I didn't bother with. I don't even consider it an actual sequel or part of the trilogy. See, trilogy. Jaws 4 doesn't exist in my mind.

Picked up Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Paid nearly 20 bucks for it.
I missed it at the theater and had heard that it was an improvement over the first film.
The Surfer was pretty cool. But...um...
Can I have my 20 bucks back please?

I need to get the Final Cut of Blade Runner on DVD. They're playing it in some theaters, and on Tuesday a friend and I will see it. The music (Vangelis rocks) and the imagery will be breathtaking; few films are better fit for the big screen.

I have just recently aquired two movies I've seen before, but find absolutely hysterical. Them being, Anchorman and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I have been seeking the latter on DVD for quite some time and just recently found it at the local Target.
