Awesome movie, goes right beside Braveheart, The Last Wave and The Last of the Mohicans on the shelf...

Gawd, it's been a long time since I've seen Papillon! What a great movie!

I enjoyed the film, but I absolutely LOVE the book. 'Banco' the follow-up book isn't bad either, though just for interest, the storytelling isn't up to Papillon's standard.

Gotta watch Popillon (and The Sand Pebbles) about every year.
