But on a more serious note.....chocolate chiffon tart can have either a biscuit pastry or sweet short pastry, just depends on which side of the train tracks you come from.

Yes it is. But it is also very filling so it's hard to eat more than a small slice. Which is good because I can just imagine the amount of calories in it...

I like to serve it when I have guests because I know there will be enough food for everyone. One pie serves at least 6 or maybe 8. I serve it with a sallad and some fruit (fresh pineapple maybe or mango) for dessert.

Well Tam is the world's greatest cook so I'm sure she could email u hers!

I got a kick out of seeing this in the paper 2day. So, according to Gale Gand-famous pastry chef, check this out to find out what you r: according to your favorite PIE!

*Apple: Wholesome and a bit middle-of-the-road, playing it safe.

*Banana Cream: An overachiever who just wants to relax and not be in charge.

*Cherry: Oversweet, in need of tartness and passion.

*Chocolate: Suave, seductive. strong, addictive.

Coconut Cream: Probably a person seeking an exotic-lite escape from reality

I don't have her crust recipe yet--but here's the rest:

1 cup pumpkin
1 cup milk
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
dash salt
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon
-cook until middle bubbles or knife comes out clean

is the cup of pumpkin raw or mashed

and whatever it is .. are these ingredients all cooked till its a solid mass in a saucepan ..

i guess it would have to be simmered??

oh ..

is this cooked in the oven .. poured into the middle of a pie crust and baked??

Well....I've never made a pumpkin pie in my life, (or any other pie for that matter - I prefer to eat the ones other people make

) but usually I think it's kinda like creamed pumpkin, comes in a can as pie filling. Then I think you just moosh all that stuff around and put it in a crust and bake it.
