Why is Saturday Night Fever #2, or even on there at all? It's disco not Rock and Roll...there's a HUGE difference!

Yikes, I missed that one too.

If they're going to toss in Saturday Night Fever 2, then where's You Can't Stop The Music? Or Xanadu, or T.G.I.F.? Hell, why not throw in Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo?

If the list is based on soundtracks, then Heavy Metal should have made it.

I see your point on this, and I hate to say it, but I think Disco has been classified under a subgenre of Rock and/or Roll. At least in things like rock & roll documentaries and such. These things never really do define what all the categories of music are, as they lump Rap, Soul, R&B, Disco, Punk, some Folk (as long as it doesn't get too traditional...say like Simon & Garfunkel and early Bob Dylan) and all electronic music into the category of R&R.
So...what are the other types of music? Jazz? Sure is a lot of blurring of lines within that, especially with the whole acid jazz movement.
What else? Classical? Hmm....I remember a little Elvis Costello album that belongs in classical.
It's funny that country doesn't tend to get lumped into this category. Sure is a lot of blur there as well, especially once Garth Brooks rose to fame.

Labels are, I guess, just that.

The map is not the territory.
