Saw this last Thursday and still have no idea what to say about it. It's eerie when a movie about a serial killer leaves you with nothing to say... If you happen to see it I'd love to hear your thoughts, cause I really don't know what to say...

Eastwood's A Perfect World is a great movie, and one I need to own. In fact when we went up the Tram the other day there was a kid next to us who looked just like that kid! Dead ringer for "Casper".
I can, at least, tell you he did an outstanding job. William Hurt does an incredibly creepy job as his alter-ego and Demi Moore and Marg Helgenberger aren't bad to look at either...

That's neat, didn't know William Hurt was also in it. Yeah, curiosity might make me check it out. I should've added that I liked A Perfect World, too (well, I only caught the last half). Was just saying that commercially it didn't do well, which may have been indicative of the moviegoing public's reluctance to accept Costner as the "bad guy."

He had a awesome string of success from being the body in the casket in The Big Chill to Dances with Wolves. Perhaps he was too successful after Wolves and stupid People magazine (I think they voted him sexiest man alive) the media was looking for any excuse to cut him down-Waterworld gave them all the ammunition they needed. Too bad Tin Cup was lost in it's shadow-that's a very funny film.
Now I'll have to go out and buy Silverado-one of my all time favorite westerns (shot in NM, btw...)
Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner, Danny Glover, John Cleese...everyone does a wonderful job-Kevin Kline and Danny Glover almost steal the show. Cleese is great and Glenn and Costner have very cool, understated roles. Some very funny parts!

I'm not a huge Costner fan, but this movie was great. Hurt and Costner worked well together.
I enjoyed the interaction between the two actors so much that, despite Brooks' penchant for murder, I wanted him to live.

I disagree. I thought the ending was really chilling. Brooks was obsessed with his "addiction", and the fact that he now has nightmares about passing that addiction on was perfect, especially given how unflappable he'd been the entire film. To be honest, I'd like to see a sequel.
