I voted for the Green party. But I am surprised to see the Liberals lose; I really thought they'd win.

The funny thing is, I'm kind of glad Labour got in. Some of their plans are rather good.

May I just say that I am proud of both of you for doing your civic duty and voting, regardless of the results.

 Voting is compulsory in Oz...so everyone over 18 years is supposed to vote. That said, I know a lot of people who don't (they'll just get fined or sent to jail if they get caught ;))

We had a lovely weekend full of watcher bonding and fun. Waddley Hasselhoff and her charming adorable boyfriend came to visit. They rolled in on Friday night after some drama which was all my fault but i will let her tell of that. Anyway, we hung out and chatted and then on Saturday morning I got up and went and got Lucimay and we had a lovely brunch cooked by Bloodguard Bob at our apartment. Then we headed to the extra touristy Pier 39 and wandered around and went to the aquarium. Wadds fell in love with the leopard sharks. Then we drove across the city and had a lovely dinner at the Beach Chalet. Afterwards we went to The Mint and most everyone sang some karaoke. Wadds and Lucimay were awesome. Bloodguard Bob was good but he didn't sing loud enough although he sang his song in Portuguese instead of the English words fed to him on the monitor so he definitely gets coolness points there. Eric performed but only sang a bit as he was recruited by some other guys in the bar to help them do a boy band number. I didn't sing at all. It was so much fun to hang out with the whole group. We had a blast. Then Sunday Wadds and Eric went to breakfast and came back and we shopped in Chinatown and had another lovely dinner at House of Nan King. Then we drove them up to Twin Peaks to admire the lovely city view and then came back to the house and hung out chatting. All in all it was a lovely weekend and I must say that Wadds is even more personable and wonderful in person. I am definitely lucky to call her friend.

I just got back from Nashville. Spending 6 days/nights with my hot ex-roommate. Who dual majored in Anthropology and Women's Studies. I had a grand time.

I think our dear Wadds could easily have a career in modeling. :D

Glad everyone had fun in SF.

'Cause if it were free, no one would get anything productive done. Instead we'd all be gallivanting around the world. Or least I would be. *shrugs*

THANK YOU FOR THE LOVELY PICTURES!!

Eric and I didn't take nearly enough :( Oh well.

To add to the weekend: San Francisco is awesome and you all should move there with me. Jenn and Chris are fantastic hosts, and I had such a wonderful time. I don't know if I'll ever drive down there again (at least not in one go) but I will definitely go back. It was one of the most fantastic weekends I've had.

Also, Moose hates me :(

My computer is refusing to load two of the pictures. Both featuring Wadds.
