I have the house to myself this weekend, and am carless.

Oh, bitter fate.

Simple, EL: call a friend who has a car.

It just hit me -- some of those San Fran pics were taken with an old Polaroid camera, weren't they? My dad had one of those. I used to love the smell of the "fixer". Ah, chemical memories...

Weekend plans: Tomorrow's the last day of Czech class for the semester. We'll have a luncheon before class (yum, Eastern European comfort food!). Then I'm going to a flamenco performance in DC tomorrow night. Sunday, probably clean house, read the paper, and maybe take a nap. Ahhhh...naptime.... :Z:

Jeez, I'm glad I haven't read those books in about 25 years

P.S. I'm working this weekend, keeping Scotlands general public safe from prisoners who would like to

a) steal from you
b) Mug you
c) Shoot you
d) stab you
e) molest you
f) All of the above, and more.

I hear ya, Guns. We're supposed to get 4-6 inches tomorrow night, so I'll be spending the weekend hoping the snow blower still works. Ah, Wisconsin...

I will be doing karaoke tonight after a short visit to a party. At least I think so. I've never been there, so I'm not sure of their selection.

So which song from Rent, Wadds? And what Manhattan Transfer song, Lucimay? Very cool BB. I so need to come impose myself upon you all and sing some tunes with you all.
