Pantheon 2.0 - Rules and Comments Thread

Xar, I don't know about the other players but this game for me has been able to spark a little creativity in an otherwise very uncreative brain. Heh.
Thank you for being a great All-Fatherer and developing such a fun game.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. There is no fear in love; for perfect love cast out fear.
I 've the honour to be a Xar's player since a long time.Xar wrote:As some of you may have noticed, I have set up a final contest for P2... since the game is over, there will be no in-game reward for the winners, but then again it is a contest that - even with votes and all - should have no real winner.
I simply thought that, after more than one year playing the game, with many of you growing fond of the characters and the world - so fond in fact that several didn't want the game to end - you would wish to wish them all farewell with a story, a tale, or however else you might want to say goodbye to them. Prophets, important followers, children and servants, cities and forests... I thought it would be nice for you to visit them one last time.
And with P3 still a few weeks away, it could also be a chance for you to use the time in a Pantheon-related matter.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing how many of you pick up the challenge... but in the meantime, I would like to say thank you, to all of you, for having made the game what it is. Without you, the ideas you offered, the input you gave, the tales you wove and the plots you hatched, the game wouldn't even exist - let alone have become as compelling as you seem to demonstrate, and as pleasant for me to process turns (even though it takes a while!). So, once again - thanks for having played thus far, and I truly hope the next incarnation of the game will be as enjoyable or more. For my part, I'm grateful to have such good players
And i can say that he's the best "Master" a player could have, trust me!

Pier you are the best, and you know it!

I apologize for the length of my entry. I figured it was best to break it up in to parts.
You may notice, if your eyes don't glaze over first, that it doesn't fit the guidelines for the contest. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that myself until I was about halfway through it. And by then I was "so far steeped in blood" that there was no way I was going to redo it.
So, it doesn't qualify for the contest, but I hope you all enjoy it anyway.
(Blame Xar. He's the one who guilt tripped me into writing anything in the first place. )

Said she, "What I get I get out of the fire,
So prithee, strike home and redouble the blow."

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
