then i go check the forums i mod to see if there's anything i missed.
then i also hit "view your posts" to see if there were replies to posts
i made that i missed.
you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

I hate that view your posts thing! it brings up threads you posted in 3 months ago and crap, I'm going thru 8 pages tryin to find some stupid comment I made, heh.
i like it cause sometimes there are replies to posts that i missed or that one day i didn't feel like replying to that i now do feel like replying to and it's easier to find them that way than trying to go thru every forum and figure out which forum this or that post was in.

I just follow the orange dots. Gives some structure to my browsing--"posts since last visit" gives you everything from every forum, jumbled up together.
I'm with Murrin. Main index, follow the orange tabs. Check mod forums first, pantheon, the Close and the Loresraat, media (tv, films, and music in that order), GD, GF/SF, Donaldson forums, and maybe author forums if I have time. What screws me is if I have to log on to a different terminal. Screws my cookies up.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
-George Steiner

Me too. I usually go: Writers' Circle, Hall of Gifts, Flicks, Vespers, Gen Dis, Gap (if there's anything there), Q&A (if there's anything there), Summonsing. Sometimes I'll check Announcements, TV or Gen Fantasy if I'm really bored.
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”

work my up from the bottom.
on occassion search for sarge & null to make sure i don't miss someone acting a direct question.
I use View Posts Since Last Visit. I hardly ever traveled out of the Pantheon, but if I see an topic that raises some kind of interest in me (which isn't that hard to do) I will check it out.
