"Find posts since last visit" is the best thing since [b] and [i].
Technology. Use it!
The only thing bad about it is if you abort your session before you catch up on all the new posts, all that information is lost. Then you gotta go through the orange circles like a bag lady looking for cans.
What would be wicked, wicked, wicked awsome godlike cool would be a "find posts since date/time" function. That would rectify the situation. If someone were to add that, I would dedicate some avatar space just to bow to them forever.

when I first joined here there was a "view unread posts" option that was awesome. then they upgraded the bbc code and we had to go to posts since last visit

heh, actually thats just my Windows color scheme. it's "crimson ferrari", not brown.
I have customized my desk with hotrod flames, my pc is old school black and red with gauge panels and a cigarette lighter, even a cupholder, hah ha. I also have a real nice sanctioned MOMO force feedback steering wheel to top off the whole ensemble, which is also, of course, old school black and red, also with custom flames. So black, red and orange are my colors for Windows, and I even use a special skin on my WMP that has chrome and flames heh. even my screensaver is flames

Esmer. That's not a cupholder. It's your CD/ROM drive.

That comment takes me back! Years ago, when my job entailed, among other things, handling complaints about office machines not working, I had a call from a secretary who called to say that her word processor wasn't working. She had spilled coffee on it and there was smoke coming from the machine.aliantha wrote:Esmer. That's not a cupholder. It's your CD/ROM drive.

It starts here, and goes sporadically through the first post of the next page, just in case you're interested.
