Don't worry, Cag. I'm still struggling with my Pantheon reveal. Unless you also put off reading the last chapter, you'll probably pass me by at this rate.

Oops, methinks I used the quote function wrong. Sorry. If forever is three years, you will have timed it just right. I wonder if the publishers realize some folks will forget about it by then. I understand the buildup of interest, you know, giving new fans time to discover it, whetting the appetite of those who already love it, but come ON, three YEARS???? Think how long three years is in the Land!!!! Does time stand still for THEM while it drags by for US??? I shouldn't have grabbed the book the first day it was out and finished it in two days.

SRD needs time to write the books, send his manuscript to his readers, get the suggestions back, make adjustments if necessary, send it off to his editor, get galleys, check them for consistancy,etc., etc.
All this in addition to having to do book tours and signings, interviews, writer panel appearances, what have you.

Wow....I'm further along than Cail. That does surprise me.
I do have to say that it does grab me every now and again, but I can't tell if I'm bored with it or just that it is too damn long with too little type. But just finished Chapter 6 in part 2 (or was it 7?) and...yeah that got the excitement up again.

I ordered it last night, second day air. Monday or Tuesday I'll get it, which means on Thursday I have to find something else to read!

I remain yet to procure said most recent work of SRD. Am undertaking a complete re-read of I & II and discover I must not have paid much attention on earlier reads. At first I thought that FR was not available to us antipodeanii but assurances from those with wisdom greater than mine assuaged my fears. Now I await the festive season with faint hope that those who gifted ROTE to me these few summers past may again see it in their hearts.
