My own choice for the cast

Post by Rigel »

Cary Elwes as TC :)
Linus Roache as Troy
Chow Yun Fat as Bannor
Jason Isaacs as Lord Foul

I'd love to get Paul Giamatti in there, but I can't think of any good roles for him :(

Dr. Berensford = Paul Giamatti.

Not a big role, but I can see him playing it flawlessly.

I've recently realized that I'd love Yul Brinner as Brinn (nomen est omen, after all). Except he's dead.
But so is Brinn, so why not?:)

No, no, no, I tell you! No! Robert Duvall must be saved for later. He must be Findail.

So, I guess at the rate this is going we better put him on ice now! ;)

I always thought Tom Hanks would make a good TC.. Just needs to lose a bit of weight... And do something about that Godawful voice.
SOmeone in another post mentioned something about Sam Neil, one of my favourite actors.. (I actually don't like Tom Hanks by the way, I just think he'd be good for the part..) Sam would have to play someone Evil tho - he always does..
And I couldn't abide Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise or Robin Williams in the movie..
How about Geoffrey Rush in there somewhere - he could play Foul but also Mhoram..

The problem with Lord Foul is that you only really see him properly at the end of the film.. Obviously he's an integral character but for the amount of screen time he'd realistically get you wouldn't need a huge star to play him..

I do like the idea of Sam Neil as Kayseryn tho...

Dammit there are too many characters in the series!

I volunteer to play all of the Bloodguard.

I can even supply the producers with a Colossus.

I want to play Amok and/or Vain.

I've been practicing the grin that reminds people of my creators, the Demondim-spawn Ur-Viles.

An army of Bloodguard can't do that!

Do the Bloodguard even wear pants?
