Roger's glamour

Post by jehannum_2000 »

Whenever I read about Roger's 'glamour' I get this vision of him in a full-length sequinned dress.

'glamour' is a word that fits Donaldson. It is a corruption of 'grammar' - and SRD also casts a glamour upon us with his grammar and words

An interesting word, no doubt, and condign for SRD I agree.

Interesting that it's one of the few words that has not been converted to an "-or" ending in America.

I just wish I could break the association with high camp whenever I read it!

I would like to get to know Roger a bit more in the next couple of books.. And then hopefully watch him die hideously.
Forgive my death.
It was my flesh that failed you, not my love.
