Now these are some good movie quotes. :S
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

that is close for me too, but in keeping with the spirit of this thread ("best movie ever? you wish...)
I would have to say it's a tie between my two guilty pleasures:
Zoolander & Fifth Element

Although Princess Bride is great fun.

Jaws is far and away the Best Movie Ever.

I'll take "Stardust" over The Princess Bride any day. It's not like I dislike the movie! (quite the contrary!) I just don't understand why people love it the way they do. Maybe it's a personal failing, a character flaw.

Spinal Tap is *way* better :)

Agreed. Spinal Tap is the greatest documentary ever. It really turned me on to an awesome sound.

Too bad about the drummers, tho. 'course, no one really cares about drummers.

... They aren't people if they can't run away when I douse them with gasoline.

Then they're bound and gagged people :P
