Intrigued

Post by lurch »

I remain Intrigued with the Viles interface with Linden. The words she remembers from a talk with Esmer seems to open an opportunity for further exploration; the caverns of the Viles, majestic castles, beauty and lovelyness..Is thata Tease or what? I fully anticipate being taken there,,eventually,, by the author.....What other teases have you intrigued?
If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.

the appearance of Kastnessen !!

SRD has created a fair bit of mystery and expectation with this character; he has an opportunity to really go to town with the Appointed nutjob - ol' Jolly Roger painted a fairly grim portrait of Kassy in FR; he's all about the pain, loves to maim etc .. then there's Kassy's tragic dalliance with the mother of the merewives to factor in .. the guy has issues up to the wazoo and as such should be a fun character to (finally) encounter - I was really suprised we didn't bump into him near Andelain in FR, it all seemed set up for a show-down with Kassy and Linden's posse at one point .. should be good !!

I am intrigued about a lot...

I'd love to see a showdown between Roger and TC.. And I'd like to see the Sandgorgons beat more shit up..

I think the viles - demondim -ur-viles/waynhim are going to be very damn important for the rest of the series...

the appearance of Kastnessen.

While I'm in no hurry for that, its inevitability waits for all of us. What kind of physical appearance will the author give to such torment? Interesting; as children we cry from physical pain and as adults we learn to cry from soulful pain. I wonder if Linden's tears will have any magic.

Personally, I hope that there is NOT a showdown between father and son.
It's been done before.

I"m sure they will confron eachother, but it'd be cool if at that time, TC just (somehow) is able to send Roger back to the real world...of course he's dead there, so that probebly won't happen.

RE: "What tease intrigues you?"

Easy question for me. Paraphrased from when Anele is channeling TC, "and if I even think his name he'll cut me off."

I really really want to know who "he" is.

The most obvious one for me, off the cuff, is the Worm of the World's End. That thing is supposedly roused at this point, so is there any avoiding us seeing it in full at this point?
