I'm for keeping it in the Game thread myself. *shrug* But don't care either way. Was planning on trying a bit more from the point of view of the characters rather than the deity for a change, but was planning to put it in the game thread.

Right.

Aye, although we will receive Turn 1 results based on the reveals before we submit Turn 2.

I think Turn 1 comes AFTER the reveal. I don't think it IS the reveal. But I am not sure? :?

What say those players who started at the begining of P2 and / or P1?!

I don't think that the turn results are based on the reveals but on what we submit privately to Xar as our first turn.

What are we privately supposed to be submitting to Xar?

When the time comes, and all of the reveals have been posted, Xar will give us a date to submit our turns - what we are going to do for that season. Each turn is equal to one season.

If you would like an example, I will be happy to pm you a turn of mine from P2. Mine were not as creative as other players, I'm sure, but it will give you an idea.

And, according to Xar, it matters how you write your turns.

I would appreciate that. Thanks, Calais. :)

As I understand it...

Your reveal takes place some time before 11:59 pm, December 31st. Then you get results for turn 1, where Xar informs you of everything that took place during the first three months (winter). You submit your moves (via email), then Xar gives you the results of turn 2, informing you of everything you did and everything that occurred during the next <three> months (spring).

So I had four more days to work on my reveal? I was under the impression I was already posting mine late....

Well, by 'December' I meant Month 12, not the actual date (I don't recall what the deadline is).
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

So this isn't the due date for the reveals? :?

Usually, the due dates for things are posted in this forum. Xar is pretty good about that.

Xar wrote:Just as a note - I will be somewhat less present on the forum for the next few days, since I'm back home for the holidays. I'll still be reading Reveals and, once all are in, I'll start working on Turn 1, but it's likely that there will be little or no additional background information coming for a little while, perhaps a week or two.

Just in case - I'd really appreciate it if in-game banter began after all deities posted their Reveals, but I also understand that some might take some time doing so. So, if by monday some Reveal is still missing, you're free to start the banter in the game thread!
this is the only thing i remember seeing that referred to a "deadline" on the reveals so i took it to mean that the reveals were due by that monday which would have been Dec 24th.

but i could be wrong.

For gods sake people, it's Christmas!

It's unlikely that I'll have mine in before January, so I'll just start a turn late.
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
