I resolve to fight the forces of evil, stand up for truce and justice in the world, and lose a few pounds.

I'm letting the forces of evil work themselves out - but I shall lose 20 pounds of fat this year, and at least double what I can bench - 2x a very small number equals a less small number, right? I is a mathmawadical genius.
