That is so great! Mine is only 7, and I'm already looking forward to the time when I can embarass her, right now she still thinks I'm the smartest person she knows. (who am I to tell her differently?) But I look at it as a sort of rite of passage, we all go through it on some level, it's character building, or maybe a wee bit sporting for parents. . . .A Gunslinger wrote:Strep sucks (let;s hear it for understatement!)...I hope yer OK.
I feel all right. Have a busy week ahead at work, but have the NH primaries to enjoy AND am looking forward to chaperoning my kids' school dance this Friday.
It's fun to embarass them! Whee!
Has anyone seen my keys?

I was always able to embarass myself at dances...didn't need my parents help.A Gunslinger wrote:Strep sucks (let;s hear it for understatement!)...I hope yer OK.

I DO plan on buying a pair of checkered shorts that are too tight, some long black socks, sandles, and a straw hat, and wear them mowing the lawn, but ONLY when the boys have friends over. Especially if they have GIRLS over.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

I feel rested. Ready for my second day of class. Got Biology II, American Novel, Shakespeare: Comedies & Histories, and Science Fiction & Fantasy.
Some of the books we're reading in Sci/Fantasy: Left Hand of Darkness, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, Ender's Game, and lesser known works (Universal Robots, Elantris, Lilith's Brood, Interesting Times). We're also watching Metropolis, Aliens, and Pan's Labyrinth.

I feel good. I am happy with my latest artistic endeavor. I got laundry out of the way yesterday. I am enjoying the heck out of Gardens of the Moon. I am gonna do some more wedding dress shopping with Julie this Saturday. Life is very good.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....
