The Darjeeling Limited
Just saw it the other day. Great fun if you're a fan of Wes Anderson. Same style as his other movies. One of my favorite movies of the year, if not my favorite.-jay

I really enjoyed it. It was a little sadder than they usually run, but just as funny, for the most part. And yet another great soundtrack.
So did your showing come with Part 1? I'm guessing they all did, but some places were advertising it as showing it with the short. What did you make of it? EW said they thought it was better than the movie itself. I can't say I quite get the point of it, but maybe I'm dense.

Life is a waste of time
Time is a waste of life
So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life

I thought I had missed my last opportunity to see it on the big screen but lo and behold it was showing at the Red Vic in my 'hood last night!
First off I am a huge fan of Wes Anderson's movies. But I think it may be my favorite so far. (Thought I do really love the Royal Tenebaums.) Darjeeling Limited has a lot of great performances, and also the art direction and details that I have come to expect from WA. A very good one if you like him, and better than the Life Aquatic for me, which was imo a little off. (Don't get me wrong I still own the criterion, haha.)
