maybe you should give it a try. especially if you are dreaming of it.

Good question! You should be a motivational counsellor. :)

Had one of those "Thanks God it was a dream" dreams. I was in a theater with a friend, and another friend of mine, who was a couple rows up, kept acting silly, throwing stuff. I took one of the objects he threw and slung it over my shoulder.

Next thing I know, there's people leaving the theater and this cop walks up to me and says, "So you're the one who threw that. Well, you better leave. That object your threw? It hit this girl, and she had a heart attack. She just died." The way he spoke made it sound like one of those safety videos where the narrator describes some freak accident, trying to scare you into being careful. Despite the silliness, it felt incredibly real. The cop then told me that I better leave, before people attack/mob me, so I spent the rest of the dream trying to leave the theater.

I had a dream that I was waiting for brand new curriculum to be emailed to me so I could teach it to my class. So I waited, and waited, and waited, with my class staring blankly at me. They began to be disgruntled, and for some reason I was adamant that I couldn't do anything until I got that new piece of curriculum. Then I woke up in a panic at 1:20, thinking that I was late for work. 8O

I hate those dreams.

i dreamt that my 15 y.o. son got his hair cut and he looked so handsome. his hair is a little long and kind of shaggy, but i think that's the teen style for guys right now.

Didn't notice this before. That dream sounds...just terrifying.

Take it from me, he's unlikely to agree with any hair cut you think makes him look handsome. I assume it's one of those generation gap things. Presumably a hair cut you'd like on him would also be a hair cut you'd like on his father, and no young man wants a hair cut that would flatter his father.

yea, i agree it is probably a generational thing...damn, i am getting old. :) really, his hair doesn't bother me. i just wish i could see those beautiful blue eyes of his! i don't give him a hard time about it b/c he is such a good kid that long hair is basically his only rebellion (right now, that is).

Oh, it was.

But not nearly as bizarre or terrifying as the dream in which I was in an Elvis movie (as Elvis), being chased by aliens disguised as Beach Bunnies, wielding wooden clubs with nails driven in them.

Not a dream, but last night my grandmother made the mistake of waking me from a very, very deep sleep. I had come in at 1:00 AM, while she was asleep. She woke up at 4:00 AM and came to my bedroom, to check on me. I sat up in bed, half-asleep, and heard her talking in the dark.

When she spoke it sounded like nonsense. It scared me: I thought she was either sleepwalking or I was dreaming. I kept saying, "Go away. Let me sleep," but she kept talking outside my door, and so I got louder. She got frightened herself, went upstairs, and I jumped out of bed and stood at the bottom of the stairs, hoping she wouldn't come back. The commotion was apparently so loud that it woke my grandfather up, who got his shotgun. 8O

it's funny how i can go a long long time w/out remembering my dreams and then all of a sudden, i start remembering them again. last night i dreamt i was on the same island as everyone from lost...like the people were real and everything. we were trying to hide from someone, i assume 'the others.' this makes about the third dream i have had about lost. i watch too much lost. :)

I had a dream that I posted some pictures in the album, and a couple people (one real, one not) said mean things to me about them. There was more to the dream sequence than that, I was being chased, but I don't remember more than that.

I dream about things from my life quite a bit. Except being chased. It seems like I'm chased in a majority of the dreams I remember.

Damm I woke up at 5 and needed a cig to get this dream o/o my head, but there were none to be found...

I dreamed I was at this great party with a bunch of soap opera characters, but no matter how hard I tryed I couldn't go all the way with this girl (even tho she wanted me badly) and even though I thought they were my friends none of them totally accepted me. One sentence woke me up when one guy said to me--"You see it doesn't work, you sir have a moral compass, look around you: we're soap opera characters!" :P

After months of trying, I managed to have a lucid dream - and it was the most indescribable experience. In lucid dreams, you are aware you're dreaming, and are able to direct the dream. Everything is totally real, but you are able to do things only possible in dreams, such as fly or have superpowers. You can go where you want and do what you want - it's like being a god.

I can't wait to repeat the experience.
