O-gon-cho has already purchased it.
Is there a way for us to see such one-off items that have already been purchased, instead of them disappearing from the store?

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.
In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.
He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Yes, I sent Vain about 30 additional items to put in the store, including all available races and all currently occupied domains. He said he'll post them today or tomorrow.Montressor wrote:So, I had a quick butcher's, and I didn't see any Ssathiss items, though I think you mentioned them (Xar). Are these forthcoming?
Just a note... I'm sure you haven't forgotten it, but apart from inter-Court conflict, remember that you also belong to a House - and that's true for all of you, no matter what is your Court affiliation, if any. If members of your House grow stronger, you grow stronger too; conversely, if they grow weaker...

Not really, since Houses and Courts work in different ways. In the case of Courts, it's like a tipping the balance of a scale - one Court grows stronger and the other grows weaker. In the case of Houses, it's more like a ripple effect: if deity X grows in strength (measured as number of followers), then all other deities in House Y also grow in strength. To make a numerical example, assume that Zephyr (House of Earth) gains 1000 followers; because they belong to the same House, each other member of the House of Earth (Aarklar, Calais and Telmag Ganoras) will automatically ALSO gain, say, 10% of Zephyr's gain (100 followers). This is intended to represent the fact that as Zephyr grows stronger, the whole House he belongs to gains additional power and influence over the world.Murrin wrote:How do you work out which houses are stronger, by the way? Esp since the houses have different numbers of gods in them. Is it an average of the members?
Obviously this works in reverse too - if Zephyr LOSES 1000 followers, then the other members of the House of Earth will ALSO lose, say, 10% of that number (100 followers).
EDIT: I'm sure you can see the consequences here... The more deities belong to the same House, the more chances there are for growth - but also the more chances there are for loss of followers. In a House with 6 deities, for example, it's unlikely all of those deities will be growing or remaining stable at the same time - it's very likely some will lose followers at any given time. The House of Air, whose only member is Tawhiri-matea, is the opposite example: he won't have to fear losing any followers due to House loss, but he also won't be able to gain any additional power from House gain.
I am FINE with that.Xar wrote:The House of Air, whose only member is Tawhiri-matea, is the opposite example: he won't have to fear losing any followers due to House loss, but he also won't be able to gain any additional power from House gain.

And if two of the same House are in conflict with each other? How would that effect the other members of said House?

I am trying to return it...

For any who think they will claim Sanctuary, or for the former L-rd Adomorn, Sanctuary has been returned to the Pantheon shop and is available for the price I paid for it.

Also, does that mean that even if you sacrifice an artifact for the bonus, it will return to Erian later. To be used again? The destruction of an artifact is often just a temporary measure; in the course of an Age, most artifacts can eventually coalesce back into physical form and return to the world - but most likely not quickly enough for a deity to destroy them a second time.
So....CAN we destroy an artifact? Or are they invincible?
From a single Acorn, a mighty Oak
Yes, it means that destroyed artifacts MAY return to Eiran later (though very often "later" effectively means they won't reappear during the game). However, some artifacts can be permanently destroyed. And those which normally would return can ALSO be permanently destroyed in specific ways - which, however, you need to find out as they are specific for each artifactTawhiri-matea wrote:Also, does that mean that even if you sacrifice an artifact for the bonus, it will return to Erian later.
