I don't watch the show at all (I think it's silly), but I should mention that LaKisha Jones is a teller at my bank.

I'll always watch the first few episodes for the train wrecks. Last year was the first time I watched (well almost) to the end and that was because of Melinda Doolittle.

This year, so far, just not impressed!

We're Idol junkies at our house.

We are looking forward to this wednesday night, Idol Gives Back, they started it last year and raised 76 million for varies children's charities in S. Africa and here in the US.

Our favs this season are...

David Archuleta (such a cutie, I want to adopt him)
Brooke White (reminds me of Joni Mitchell)
David Cook (rock on!)
Michael Johns (awesome voice, reminds me of Micheal Hutchins from INXS)

All time fav Idols...
Chris Daughtry
Rueben
Carrie Underwood
Fantasia
AND...JENNIFER HUDSON!! You go girl!!!!

I am a fan of the show...my husband not so much, but he humours me each week.

I like Carly a lot, she is my favorite, but I don't think she'll win. I also really like Brooke and David Cook.

Y'know, I watched the first three, maybe four seasons before I realized this was essentially Professional Karaoke. There is a little creativity that these people put into their performance, but essentially these songs are not going to define these people. Or maybe they will, and that is even sadder. But mainly it is such a time suck for so little payoff, and I try not to watch as much television anymore, so this was easy to discard.
