And I thank you, SBG, for that out of the blue compliment. Yes, I know...I'm consistently harmless. It's a hard habit to break, I'm afraid. Even after all this time at KW.

My compliments to Emotional Leper for being the most fearless and recklessly nutty member since Darth Revan ;) and for slaying me with the best deadpan one-liners since dAN's.

- dAN and aTOMiC, for being able to shrug off crap at KW and go about their merry way, and for still being the best dynamic duo since [insert comedic/superhero team of your choice].

- Jay, for tolerating my continued hanging-on as a Mod, even as I continue to demonstrate my uselessness in the role on a daily basis.

- Vain, for his artful avatars that balance the sinister with the whimsical.

Compliments to all who have contributed to the Photography thread and made it one of my favorite stops at the Watch.

- Menolly, for reviving the Galley and making it her own.

- danlo, for being a tireless Admin commuting between KW and the Hangar.

- Creator and Lucimay, for their never-ending and disturbing enthusiasm for Literati.

- Cail for taking charge of TV and Flicks and keeping them lively.

- Syl, for taking the hot seat of the most thankless Modship in all the Watch. (Uh, no, I don't mean the TC forum.)

- dlbpharmd and Sea, for keeping watch over the raucous FR forum (though I'm only guessing, since I haven't joined).

- Wayfriend, for his eminently readable posts on all things TC.

HUGGLESSSSSSSSSSSS danlo |G

Ya know, I don't get on 1/3 of the time I used too. I miss alot by not being here as often. But I still love everyone here, and I wish I knew some of the newer people better. 5 years is a long time and how they do go by in a blink. The joy and friendships I have made here will be with me always. I LOVE the Watch!!! :hearts:

P.S. I really miss Sky
And I believe in you
altho you never asked me too
I will remember you
and what life put you thru.

...for then I could fly away and be at rest. Sweet rest, Mom. We all love and miss you.

Thanks for the thanks (and the Love from Jenn in the other thread).

I'd like to thank Jay and my fellow mods for trusting me with the responsibility and for their support and assistance in exercising it. I'd like to thank everyone in the Tank for working with me or at least putting up with me. Thanks to Av for setting the standard (not to mention being the only mod people really listen to ;)) and to Cail for stepping up.

Personal thanks to Lucimay, Esmer, Caam, Menolly, and Creator for keeping me company on messenger, especially Lucimay, upon whom I can always rely to lift my spirits.

Thanks to Xar for all the work on Pantheon, and thanks to all the Pantheones for making it fun.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

Wow...

I had no idea so many even took notice that I posted.

Anyway...

Thanks to:
Fist, for making the Watch home for me.
Jenn...for lessons hopefully learned, painful though they may be.
danlo for elohimfest, and trying to keep me honest.
Avatar for being Av to my craziness.
Esmer for bringing me back to myself.
Balon for letting me reminisce, even if I haven't finished the story.
Syl and Argothoth/Rothmog, for the Hebrew and Italian lessons, respectively.
EL for...essentially being EL.
Luci, for cutting to the quick.
L-rd Foul, for letting me endulge my Jewish Mama tendencies.
Xar, Montressor, Dorian and Shadow Strike, for introducing me to alternative realities.
Also Shadow Strike, for being my ever present Messenger companion...
Infelice and BirdandBear, for letting me barge into their sub-forums.
and finally, Loremaster, who has always, always responded to my PMs with words of hope and support (except for one brief period)...

So many more to list.
Just know y'all are my extended dysfunctional family.
At that the Watch is...
HOME.

Thanks, ma. Does this mean I can play ball in the house?

I'd like to complement Zeph for teaching me how far is too far.

I think you all rock - even if you don't all get along like the Waltons :)

I think it's testament to yourselves that KW actually has a reputation out there as one of the best sources of SRD's work and this is due to the efforts of many unbelieveably dedicated people - hundreds of ya :)

This place started out almost 6 years ago (Post EZ Board) and has grown in leaps and bounds since then and we will continue to seek new and better ways to improve your experience here :)
