Does Linden need Stave?

Post by Stark Raver »

The question was inpired by the jocular tone of responses to "Stave and Linden's affair." A previous post.

The following may not sound nice to some. The squeamish may wish to look away. If you wish to preserve your modesty stop here

Assuming Linden is trapped in the land in much the same way as Troy, dead in the real world yet able to live on in the Land, will she then hear the ticking/tolling of her biological clock? She with "health sense" feel her eggs drying up? Popping by the minute. Tic tic tic........

In the end, it will be not because of love, though Linden may convince herself otherwise, she will need Stave. She will sense, if truth be told, that only the seed of a haruchi could survive her womb.

Well actually, the idea Covenant shows up, not the idealized man 10 years of longing had created, not an animal from a King pet semetary, but exactly himself, broken and whiny, is intriguing.

Linden would be vulnerable. A void will open in Linden's soul. ;) She will draw Stave in. Stave will with all his passion, seek to fill the void.

Oh, it will be for Lindens sake for sure ;)
