Is Sniping Good or Evil?
Are you one of those people that enter a first person network game, find a shady hiding spot and start racking up the headshots? I live to take you guys out. I generally get popped several times before I'm able to flush out the offender but I always get them. It is wrong to just sit and snipe or is it just a natural part of the multiplayer gaming experience?

For multiplay, yes, but the single player in Call of Duty is unparalleled for its realism and just wow-inducing cinematic-like scenes. The Battle of Stalingrad is outstanding--far better than the Omaha Beach mission in Allies Assault.

This all sounds pretty cool. I haven't gotten the chance to play either of those games. The closest thing I've played (and I'm sure both Foul and Hier with scoff) is Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Pretty realistic and true to WWII until you get to the undead. Sniping seem pretty realistic and it comes in handy for completing your mission not just racking up head shots. I'll have to try both of the games you guys have mentioned.

Sniping is great. If you play Iron Storm (brilliant game, btw), it is painful because 1/5 enemy soliders is a sniper.
I'm not certain about Call of Duty because it sounds very short; I refuse to spend so much money on a game that will be finished in 7hrs.

Well, Ur-Vile, I believe it's all about quality over quantity with Call of Duty. I beat it in one day, basically (played it all night and then went to bed and finished during the duration of the next day). But it's damn fun to replay, and honestly, I'd say the game's worth your hard-earned dough. Definitely! Don't let the length get you down. It will amaze you--especially the Battle of Stalingrad.

Getting a strike in bowling!?!?!?!!!!Lord Foul wrote:Popping those skulls and seeing You killed (name here) in big, bold white letters is the equivalent of getting a strike in bowling.
Foull, that is the single funniest metaphor for ecstasy (or a peak experience) that I have ever seen! BOWLING!!!!! ROTFLMAO!
You must really like bowling! Or you just didn't wan't to embellish the sniping experience too much!! LOL
Gotta love it...bowling!

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. You see, I got 1st place in my 4th grade league in bowling. *Brushes self off, smiling radiantly* And well, whenever I made a strike, I'd clench my fist and shake it in victory, going "Yesss!" It was quite exhilarating, yes. It just feels great to do the best at what you like doing! So whenever you snipe someone in the head, the feeling just feels as it did during my bowling years. Ah, the ecstasy! *drools*
Honestly, I was a fat porker in 4th grade. What else was I gonna do but play baseball in RIGHT FIELD (for 5 years) and BOWL?!
