had car in mech's two days ago. cost $100 approx. today with grandson in back - car dies. costs another $100 approx to tow. and new fee foe fix. and we died in bad part of town. homeless crack head yelled at us - tried to beg coins.

Wow, I am really tired. I don't get it. I slept last night. All I did today was drive 4 hours to get home. Then I went to a health fair at the local synagogue for an hour or two.

I could lie down and fall asleep right now. :(

I'm having a decent day. Currently I'm avoiding calling phone numbers trying to find a new apartment that a) I can afford without a roommate b) allows me to keep my cat c)isn't totally falling apart and d)isn't in the less desirable neighborhoods.

I hate calling strangers. . . once I know a person I'm fine to call on the phone, but I dread having to call for something like this. :roll:

Hang in there, Lore.

Got out and voted this morning, since the Virginia primary might actually matter this year.... The brush fire across the highway from the girls' college was contained, last I heard, so no danger now that they'll have to evacuate the school (phew!). Today's attorney count: one out of town, one still on maternity leave but might be stopping by briefly, and one, hmm, haven't heard from him yet today. So it's all good.

I feel...flexable! Just went to see my osteo who kindly manipulated my spine and hip area back into place and then cracked my neck ( it is just me or is that something you never get used to??)

Now I get to go celebrate passing my driving test at my favourite chinese restaurant!
